Ingredients
- Base: 3 cups (510 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 (14 oz / 400 g) can sweetened condensed milk
- Topping: 1/2 cup (75 g) festive sprinkles or crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Step 1:
- Line an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- Step 2:
- In a medium saucepan over low heat combine chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth (about 3–5 minutes).
- Step 3:
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Step 4:
- Immediately sprinkle festive sprinkles or crushed peppermint candies over the top pressing gently to adhere.
- Step 5:
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
- Step 6:
- Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into 16 squares. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
