Recipe Guide
- → How does heavy cream affect the texture?
Heavy cream adds moisture and richness, making the rolls exceptionally soft and tender with a delicate crumb.
- → Can I substitute heavy cream with something else?
Yes, half-and-half can be used as a lighter alternative, though it may slightly reduce richness.
- → Why is the dough allowed to rise twice?
The first rise develops flavor and texture, while the second rise after shaping creates a fluffy, airy roll.
- → What is the best way to ensure soft rolls?
Proper kneading, adequate rising time, and pouring heavy cream over the rolls before baking all contribute to softness.
- → How should leftovers be stored?
Store cooled rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days to maintain freshness.
