Recipe Guide

How does heavy cream affect the texture?

Heavy cream adds moisture and richness, making the rolls exceptionally soft and tender with a delicate crumb.

Can I substitute heavy cream with something else?

Yes, half-and-half can be used as a lighter alternative, though it may slightly reduce richness.

Why is the dough allowed to rise twice?

The first rise develops flavor and texture, while the second rise after shaping creates a fluffy, airy roll.

What is the best way to ensure soft rolls?

Proper kneading, adequate rising time, and pouring heavy cream over the rolls before baking all contribute to softness.

How should leftovers be stored?

Store cooled rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days to maintain freshness.
