Recipe Guide

Can I use fresh spinach instead of frozen?

Yes, fresh spinach can be used. Cook and drain it well to remove excess moisture before mixing to avoid sogginess.

What bread types work best for this sandwich?

Sourdough or white sandwich bread offer good texture, but whole wheat or gluten-free bread are great alternatives.

How do I prevent the sandwich from becoming soggy?

Ensure the dip is not too watery and butter the outside of the bread well for a crisp, golden finish.

Can I add other cheeses to the filling?

Yes, blending cheeses like Gruyère or fontina can add depth and richness to the flavor.

What temperature and time are ideal for air frying?

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 4–6 minutes, flipping halfway to ensure even browning.
