06 - ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper

02 - Add the corn and sauté for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and slightly golden.
03 - Stir in the cream cheese and honey, cooking while stirring constantly until the cream cheese fully melts and the mixture becomes creamy, about 2 to 3 minutes.
04 - Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well to combine.
05 - Remove from heat and serve warm, optionally garnished with extra pats of butter or a drizzle of honey.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The honey and cream cheese melt into the corn making it taste richer than it really is
  • It comes together in 15 minutes but tastes like it took way more effort
02 -
  • Keep the heat at medium or the honey can scorch and taste bitter instead of sweet
  • The cream cheese needs to be softened or it will not melt smoothly into the corn
03 -
  • Cut the cream cheese into small cubes before you start so it melts faster and more evenly
  • Use a skillet with enough room to stir everything without spilling
