# What you'll need:
→ Turkey
01 - 14 oz turkey breast, sliced into bite-sized strips
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
→ Pasta
06 - 12 oz fettuccine or linguine
→ Alfredo Sauce
07 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
08 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
09 - 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
10 - 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
11 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
12 - Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
→ Garnish
13 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
14 - Extra grated Parmesan cheese, optional
# Method:
01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, drain, and set the pasta aside.
02 - In a bowl, combine turkey strips with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the turkey is evenly coated.
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned turkey and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and fully cooked. Transfer turkey to a plate and set aside.
04 - Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until the garlic becomes fragrant.
05 - Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer and allow to cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
06 - Add Parmesan cheese and ground nutmeg to the skillet, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
07 - Add drained pasta and sautéed turkey to the skillet. Toss thoroughly to coat in the sauce. Gradually add reserved pasta water if a looser consistency is desired.
08 - Remove the skillet from heat. Top with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.
